Selwyn Gishen

I am the founder of the Gishen Group - a collaborative company that provides business management, planning and accounting support for new entrepreneurs and small businesses through my I2V2M program.

SunTsu was reported as saying; "There are two kinds of people in this world, ordinary people and warriors. Ordinary people see events in their life as either blessings or curses. Warriors see life's events as challenges!"

Over the past 35 years, I have consulted to a variety of different entrepreneurial endeavors that include retail, fast food operations, jewelry manufacturing, real estate development and even the managing of funds for high net worth individuals and families in the financial markets.

2012 - 2013, I consulted to the Gift in a Card Company where I helped to develop ideas for retail gifting.

2005 - 2012 - I helped a variety of companies explore the preserved flower market, where we investigated and tested market response to the concept. This involved the development of the process to preserve flowers and then to determine market acceptance of the concept.

1987 - 2002, I managed investments in the Forex markets for high net worth individuals and during that time wrote a book  "Trading the Forex Markets - A Foundation Course for Online Traders." I wrote articles for the Forex Journal and a series of informative articles for INVESTOPEDIA

1981 - 1996 my primary focus was the development of regional shopping centers and industrial parks, in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, and Johannesburg, South Africa.

I have been directly involved or responsible to build and promote such diversified companies as the Pro Gro Group, a property development company in South Africa to Paris Audio and Federated Electronics, each a chain of retail stereo stores in Los Angeles.

I now focus on helping companies implement good management and accounting methods, and offer a series of programs designed to incubate and grow your ideas from concept to implementation.

Even so, not everything in life will be a perfect fit, but to quote Sai Baba;

"Life is a song - sing it. Life is a game - play it. Life is a challenge - meet it.       Life is a dream - realize it. Life is a sacrifice - offer it. Life is love - enjoy it"
